Hi there,

My journey to becoming a personal chef started over 25 years ago flipping burgers at Burke Mountain Ski Resort and taking culinary classes at a local high school vocational program in northeastern Vermont.

 

Since then, I have worked in every capacity in the food service industry, specializing in homemade breads and flatbread pizzas. I have branched out into all aspects of catering, where I have learned to be a server, a bartender, and what goes into the coordination of an event.

 

In 2012, I moved to Red Hook, NY in the heart of the Hudson Valley. There I opened the bakery restaurant, Bread & Bottle, where the focus was on artisan bread and pizza. After closing our doors in 2017, I continued to pursue my passion of baking bread and hosting pizza nights for friends and family at home.

 

In 2020, I became the prepared food chef for the Migliorelli Farm Stands, making everything from breads and soups to pies and mozzarella. I have since made the prepared food business into my own, Dan's Prep Kitchen LLC. You can still find my products at the farm stands. 

 

Throughout my journey, I have always believed in sourcing ingredients locally as much as possible. It is important to me to reduce our environmental footprint and enjoy the bounty that is at our fingertips.

 

I thoroughly enjoy hosting and catering a gathering as well as doing meal prep for families in need. I take pride in what I do and hope to make your culinary need special.
